Alena Allen, Caleb N. Griffin and Blair Druhan Bullock joined the U of A University of Regulation college on June 1.

Alena Allen joins the law school as associate dean for investigation and school progress and professor of legislation. For the past 10 years, Allen taught Household Regulation, Overall health Legislation electives, Torts, and Feminist Jurisprudence at the Cecil C. Humphreys College of Legislation at the University of Memphis. She also served as co-lead of the College of Memphis campus-vast Eradicating Racism Initiative, Memphis law college school senator (2020-21), director of range (2017-18) and director of faculty exploration for Memphis Law (2020-21). 

Allen’s analysis interests incorporate the intersection of wellbeing coverage and important feminist theory. She was also selected as a Tennessee Board of Regents Maxine Smith Better Education Administration Fellow in 2015 and as an American Modern society of Medication, Legislation, and Ethics/Saint Louis University Wellbeing Legislation Scholar in 2012-13.

She retains a Juris Health care provider from Yale Regulation Faculty and graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology.


Caleb Griffin joins the law university as an assistant professor. Griffin’s investigate focuses on company law, corporate governance and tech regulation. Griffin graduated cum laude from Harvard Legislation Faculty with a Juris Medical professional degree.


Blair D. Bullock joins the legislation school as an assistant professor. Bullock most recently served as Tulane Regulation School’s Murphy Browsing Assistant Professor. Her interdisciplinary scholarship and research generally focuses on work discrimination and the labor current market, empirically analyzing the influence of regulations, legislation, judicial conclusions and agency assistance on the submitting and result of authorized actions and on societal outcomes. Bullock’s scholarship has been highlighted or is forthcoming in the Alabama Regulation Overview, Washington and Lee Legislation Evaluation and the Oxford Analysis Encyclopedia of Economics and Finance.

Prior to joining academia, Bullock clerked for Decide Stephen A. Higginson of the United States Court docket of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
